In 2001
we had a great archery hunt with six archers.
Among the archers were Johnny Morris (owner
of Bass
Pro Shops) and his son John Paul, accompanied
by Kerry Earnhardt (race car driver) and Jimmy and
Angie Ryan (Bass Pro Shops Pro Team). The Bass
Pro Shops Outdoor World film crew also accompanied
John Paul and Kerry in the field. We are looking
forward to the TV show scheduled for next fall
on TNN. All week, a lot of great bulls were
seen and all archers took shots on big bulls.
Throughout most of the hunt, Jimmy and Angie
chased a 350+ bull. At one point, they called
him into about 10 yards but there was no shot
as he came in straight towards her. The film
crew also filmed a 380+ bull on the last evening
after the hunt was over.
We
also had a great rifle hunt with four of our
favorite clients. The weather was perfect and
the bulls were bugling throughout the whole
hunt.
